Placenta Encapsulation is the process of obtaining the placenta after the delivery of the baby, dehydrating it, converting it into powder form and encapsulating it. The capsules are then consumed on a daily basis. It can also be converted into a tincture form which can be added to water or juice. There are numerous benefits to consuming your placenta. It can decrease the risk of postpartum depression, replenish nutrients, vitamins and iron that were lost during labor and delivery; it can also increase milk supply.
